As I Walk Through The Valley

This collection comes from t-shirts and other promotional materials created for a documentary. The lotería set was an attempt to provide a window into the Valley that could mirror what the movie does. As a result, many icons from the film and region make their way into this collection.
When I originally thought about using the lotería images I realized that the full set is a type of introduction to a region. In the cards are people, food, plants and symbols of a region. So it was a perfect way to introduce The Valley to people who were interested.
You’ll notice that the numbers are out of order but mostly they correspond to the year something happened. For instance, Falcon Records opens in 1948 so the Falcon card is 48. Sometimes things start in the same year so they have the same number.
